Director and screenwriter Jordan Peele has had movie lovers wild with anticipation for his follow-up feature to Get Out, Us, ever since the release of the first trailer. And with it, Us movie theories started to trickle across the internet. The second trailer only made more people share their Us movie theories, and soon, SXSW attendees will get to know exactly what Us theories were correct, or whether everyone is wrong.
The unfortunate thing about Us premiering at SXSW is that all of us who are not at the screening on March 8 may have Us spoilers to contend with until the movie opens in theaters on March 22. You can avoid reviews, but there’s always someone who thinks it is a good idea to post a spoiler on social media or even a hint at what the big twist may be, and the moviegoing experience is ruined.
