Busted Knuckles Productions has released an official trailer for director Hunter G. Williams’ upcoming feature The Crying Dead. The found-footage film centers on a group of young filmmakers who enter a haunted psychiatric hospital in an attempt to shoot a pilot for a paranormal research show. The hospital ends up being more than the group can handle, and the cameras capture every last bit of their horror. The found-footage genre is a stale one, and this exact premise was explored in 2011’s “Grave Encounters”, but the trailer for The Crying Dead does show a lot of creepy promise. Fans of psychological ghost stories can make up their own minds when the movie is released on DVD/VOD come September 17th.
