Friday the 13th is an appalling addition to the horror genre.
Film Review: ‘Sunshine Cleaning’
If you are seeking a film that is heartfelt, touching, and wholly believable, Sunshine Cleaning is it. The characters are full of range and emotion, and meld together on screen with a simplistic ease. Sunshine Cleaning is a story about family, about overcoming ones past, finding your future and accepting who you are and the choices you have made. More importantly, it will make you feel something while bringing you laughter and possibly a few tears.
Film Review: ‘Confessions Of A Shopaholic’
Confessions of a Shopaholic is a delightful film that is fun and enjoyable with enough lightheartedness to keep you upbeat throughout while adding a dose of drama to keep you engaged. It serves its purpose as pure entertainment while serving a small dose of romance and the theme of finding one’s self. Not to mention it is a hyperbolic explosion of color on screen.
Film Review: ‘Crossing Over’
With great relief, Crossing Over moves away from the standard immigration story (Mexico and the U.S.) and portrays a variety of people from different Nations attempting to become nationalized in the United States.
Film Review: ‘Echelon Conspiracy’
Echelon Conspiracy is just another go at the man vs. his own creation storyline; the poor man’s Skynet comes to mind. It lacks any sort of new excitement, unless you consider mysterious text messages exciting and fresh. You are purely given a tired story that would fare better on the small screen, as a movie of the week, then in a theater.
